We left for the Omaha Airport at 4:45 am. We arrived at Washington National at 10:30 am, ate lunch at the International Trade Center, saw the National Cathedral from the coach (getting repairs after the earthquake), toured Embassy Row, toured the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, visited the National Archives and sat through a tornado warning in our hotel. We closed with dinner/dessert at Bob Rogers restaurant, and were back to our rooms at 7:30 to turn in for the night.
